Eating vegan in London was pretty easy and super tasty. With a little research and planning we hit a ton of vegan spots throughout the city. Here's few of them. (Sorry for the lack of pictures on some.. the food was just too good).
Amico Bio is an organic vegetarian and vegan Italian restaurant that serves some of the best italian food I've had. They even have a full list of organic sodas, wines, spirits, ciders, and beers. They have 2 locations in London and a few in Italy. We visited both locations in London because the food was soooo amazing.
The menu is full of amazing food like pasta, bruschetta, pizza, salad, fried zucchini, fried polenta, and of course desert. The menu changes often too which I love.

Mildreds is another great vegetarian restaurant in London. There menu has vegan options as well as gluten free options. It's not 100% vegan but it's easy to read what is and what isn't. There's a wide variety of options. So whether you want dumplings, curry or a burger.. they have it all here.
We went with the vegan burger of the day with fries and the sri iankan sweet potato and cashew nut curry. I hadn't had curry for a long time so this really hit the spot.
They also had tons of organic and vegan wines, beers, spirits, etc. So I decided to grab a beer I had never heard of.. Freedom Organic Lager by Freedom Brewery. This 4.8% abv Heles pale lager was a great pairing with our meal. This is how a lager should be. I love the branding on the back of the bottle. I wish the front was as bold and creative as the back.

This was one of the coolest spots we found. It was a very tiny almost hidden vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Their menu only has a few options but they change each day. They always have a soup, salad, hot dishes, homemade breads and a quiche. There was no seating because it was sooo pack with locals.
If you plan on stopping here make sure you have cash with you because it's *CASH ONLY*. That's how you know it's a great local spot. We got the tomato soup, stir-fry, and pasta salad. Of course everything we got was vegan and so delicious. The soup really hit the spot because it was a pretty chilly day. I had been craving a creamy soup but most places that offer soup don't make them vegan. Thank you food for thought.
